“Glee” and the Importance of Teams (by Niki Martin)

Once my parents split my dad moved to another state- leaving my mom, who had a full time job, to raise me and my brother alone. “Hey, would you cover for me today?” Sometimes, it’s hard to find a way to manage getting to work after a long difficult day at school. That doesn’t even include the countless hours of extracurricular activities; homework, youth group, family time. How can you get it all done without a total melt down? For me, a job completely took over my life. No matter what I wanted to do, if it conflicted with work, I couldn’t participate. My yearbook advisor and editor-in-chief loved having “yearbook parties”. As, a section editor, I have an obligation to help out... [Read the full story]
